Response to Ms. Clarke's Comments on Reparations

Dear Source:
I understand the importance of education and agree that it should be a main focus of all peoples. The thing that confuses and bewilders me is the fact that the Holocaust survivors have received reparations plus numerous other compensations for their pain and suffering. This is relevant because of the fact that they are European and the decendants of the slaves are not.
Comparitavely speaking, an estimated 6-8 million lives were exterminated during WWII. Compared to centuries of forced migration in deplorable conditions on ships packed tighter than sardine cans. This is not lost on me or many others seeking reparations. The condescending attitude displayed by many Europeans c/o blacks is unspeakable, all the while wholeheartedly supporting Holacaust survivors. Both were terrible instances of man's cruelty and lack of caring towards their fellow human beings. Why can't both attrocities be reconciled and the survivors be compensated?
