Governor Charles W. Turnbull has proclaimed the week of April 18-24, as Organ/Tissue Donor Awareness Week in the Virgin Islands.
The week has been set aside to educate residents about transplantation and its successes.
Governor Turnbull said that to be a donor is an example of giving the promise of life to others.
