VALDEMAR HENRIQUE GEORGE DEAD AT 90

Valdemar Henrique George, age 90, known affectionately as "Boy Blue / Butchie" of # 7-B Hill Street Christiansted, died Friday, Sept. 1 at the Juan F.Luis Hospital.
Mr. George was a World War II Veteran .
Legioneer services will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the American Legion Hall in Gallows Bay at 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Funeral services will take place at the Friedensthal Moravian Church, Christiansted, at 10:30 a.m.. viewing will begin at 10 a.m. . Interment will follow in the Kingshill Cemetery, Veteran Section.
Mr. George is survived by his wife, Mary Charles George, daughters: Estelleen George-Andrews,
Beverly George-Walcott of New York and Mariel George-McAlpin and his son, Clayton George. He is also survived by a son-in-law, Charles HA. McAlpin, 10 Grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his nieces, Elisa McKay, Dons Williams, Joy Rowe, Seirna Cornell and Hope Townsend, all of New York, and nephews, Alphonso E. Marshall, Lester Milligan and Emmet McKay of New York. Also surviving are special cousins, George Ebbesen, Edsel Hansen, Dr. Ruth Beagles, the Molloy Family, Luz James Sr. and family, Wilfred James, Theodora and Myrtle Dunbavin; Close Friends: Ignatius Sealey, Miguel Santos and family, Enid Hennemann and family, Agnes Shanderson and family, Harry Nesbitt and family, Henrietta Harnm and family, Vincent Syris, Fritz Pedro and family of New York and Arthur Johnson and family of New York, Carl Christiansen and Family of New York, Henry Bastian, Vinetta Pilgrim and family, Lillith Peets, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
