STARGAZING WITH SEA

Oct. 2, 2002 – The St. Croix Environmental Association is expanding its attention to the landscape by looking up to the stars. They will host an evening of stargazing with amateur astronomer Wood Montier Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The event will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Montier's residence in Frederiksted. See the new moon and other celestial bodies through a powerful telescope with an unobstructed view of the western sky. Come early at 5:45 p.m., suggests a release from SEA, and view the sunset and maybe catch the famous "green flash" from an historic sugar mill.
Registration is required: call 778-1952. Oct. 10 is the rain date.
