ADULT EDUCATION REGISTRATION UNDER WAY

Jan. 14, 2003 – Classes in the evening section of the adult education program have begun at Addelita Cancryn Junior High School. Students interested in participating in this program may register during the classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at the school.
The evening program offers classes in reading, writing and mathematics. These classes are geared to prepare students for the General Education Diploma exam. Classes are offered in English as a Second Language. Both basic education and the ESL classes are free. The fee for the GED preparation is $50.
Information on the program is available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the District Office of the Adult Education Program, Monday through Friday at 774-6899. Further information may also be obtained by calling the Evening Adult Basic Education Program at 774-4540 on Monday or Wednesday between 7 and 9 p.m.
