ST. JOHN PUBLIC SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS MAY 30

April 21, 2003 — Public school registration for the 2003-2004 school year will begin on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 for St. Thomas students and continue through May 29. Registration will be daily from 8:15 a.m. to noon at the Curriculum Center (across from the Seventh Day Adventist Church) in Estate Tutu.
Registration for children residing on St. John will be held on Friday, May 30, at the Julius E. Sprauve School from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m., a release from St. Thomas-St. John District Insular Superintendent William I. Frett has announced.
Parents wishing to register a child must bring the following:
— the child to be registered
— the child's original birth certificate (if U.S. citizen only)
— the child's passport, resident card, naturalization certificate (for non-citizens only)
— V.I. immunization cards and the Clearance Form that is issued at the Immunization Clinic at the R. L. Schneider Hospital
— report card from previous schools
— proof of parent's physical address (driver's license, voter's ID, Cable TV bill, WAPA bill)
— the child's Social Security card
Parents are further reminded that students entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before December 31, 2003.
Students are to be registered in accordance with the following schedule, by the first letter of their last name:
A, May 6
B, May 7
C, May 8
D-E, May 9
F-G, May 13
H,I,J, May 14
K-L, May 15
M, May 16
N-O, May 20
P-Q, May 21
R, May 22
S, May 23
T, May 27
U-V, May 28
W,X,Y,Z, May 29
St. John students
All, May 30
