AD EXEC TO SPEAK ABOUT SUPER BOWL ADS

The Friday before Super Bowl weekend, Jason Maltby was quoted — in an AP story in the Daily News — as saying that the broadcast of the Super Bowl offered television advertisers one of the biggest bangs for their buck. By Monday morning several of his clients had a variety of opinions on the subject.
Maltby, senior partner and executive director of national broadcast and programming for MindShare in New York, directs national strategy and implementation for a wide range of clients including Gillette, IBM, Merrill Lynch, and 20th Century Fox Studios. He will be the guest speaker at the Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands’ March 9 luncheon at Palm Court Harbor View. He will also speak in St. Croix at the Caravelle Hotel March 10.
Both events, part of the Ad Club’s Professional Series, are supported by gold sponsor Marriott Frenchman’s Reef and Morningstar Resort and silver sponsor, Seaborne Airlines.
The cost of the St. Thomas luncheon event is $30 for nonmembers and $25 for members. The St. Croix event is $23 and $18 respectively. Please call 693-8883 on St. Thomas and 719-0578 on St. Croix for reservations or more information. Both events begin at noon.
