EAST END LOTS TO BE PRICED AT $450,000 TO $1M-PLUS

I am from St. John. I left the Island, due to opportunity. I have returned over the last 5 years. I am in disbelief how the island has changed. We are no longer natives, the atmosphere is no longer a Caribbean Island.
You are making it extremely harder for the native people to live on the Island. I cannot believe you are allowing these homes to be built. Every million dollar home made causes my relatives / native people taxes to go up, one way or the other!!!
You are separating the native people from the new comers like Mr. Prevo, who may be a very nice guy and truly loves the Island, however, you are the cause why the natives who is St. John, to dislike the new growth and the new comers / people!
Why don't you build a hotel or condo, that will offer more jobs for the natives. Yes, the new home will offer more jobs also, what happens when they are done!
Please do not allow this!
People of St. John, it does not matter who you are, you must control your growth, let it be a community venture where all are in favor, not the private sector. You can no longer get to Peter Bay by foot!!! What will happen when you can no longer pick whelks around the rocks, travel the North Shore or go to Trunk Bay? That's right we have to pay to go to Trunk Bay – get it, it is coming!
Reclaim your paradise … your Island … your culture … your community … your pride!!!
