May 27, 2004 – Caribbean Community Theatre's production of "Play it Again, Sam" closes out its run this weekend with performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Woody Allen comedy is about a Humphrey Bogart wannabe named Allen who has none of Bogart's attraction for the opposite sex. Bogey materializes to give Allen some encouragement, but even that's not enough.
Headlining the CCT production cast are Charles Braslow as Allen, Glen Wells as Bogart and Bonita Repp as Linda, the object of Allen's affection.
The play is being presented at the company's new theater in Orange Grove behind the Pueblo Supermarket and near the St. Croix Animal Shelter Flea Market, between the Long Reef Condominiums and St. Croix Insurance.
Tickets are $15 general admission and $8 for students, with discounts available to CCT members. For reservations, call 773-7171. Patrons are advised to arrive early for best seating. (For more information about the production, see "Caribbean Community Theatre Presents 'Play It Again, Sam'".)
