On Thursday, the Labor Department office in St. Thomas will close at 10 a.m. for the same purpose.
Labor Department spokesman Janelle Gumbs said that Derious D. Swinton, director of Swinton and Associates, will provide information at the employee seminars about leadership skills, customer service and building confidence.
An open house on St. Thomas, scheduled for Oct. 2, has been postponed until later in the month.
These events follow on the heels of other Customer Appreciation Days on St. Thomas and St. Croix, as well as a church service at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in St. Thomas and an open house at the Labor Department office in St. Croix.
Gumbs said that Labor Awareness Month comes in September because Labor Day falls in that month.
"It pays homage to the hardworking men and women of this territory," she said.
