Glendora Lewis, also known as “Baby G,” of Sion Hill died on June 14. She was 90 years old.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Stanley Lewis; mother, Viola Seth; father, Hubert Newton; sister, Lanis Joshua; brother, Eustace Newton; nephew, Vaughn Benjamin; and son-in-law, Rowan Coates Sr.
She is survived by her son, Winston Burton; daughters: Cheryl Coates, Dawnie Yorke, Stacy Hewitt and Joann Lewis; grandchildren: Sherika Coates-Richards, Rowan Coates Jr., Kevin and Kendal Yorke, Jonelle Rosario, Sanay Hewitt, Marlon, Tyler, Ashley and Allison Burton; and great-grandchildren: Kadence, Kara, Zeniah, Ayanna, Ashayla, Parish, Brieanna, Marni, Kimaya, Asha, Malayia, Matteo, Jodie and Alex.
She is also survived by sisters: Roma Nicholas, Shirley Benjamin, Rowena Medley, Claudette Brooks, Emelda Jackson, Vadis Grant and Genita Benjamin; nieces: Denise Nicholas, Ingrid Nicholas, Latisha Brooks, Casandra Jackson, Condon Grant, Michelle Medley, Hildred Benjamin, Marvo Newton-Richards, Anthea Jackson, Shenneth Canegata-Smith and Anthea Harris; and nephews: Malcolm Nicholas, Michael Medley, Dale Jackson, Ronald Benjamin Jr., Wenty Grant, Ivan Grant, Neil Grant, Devon Newton, Eustace Newton Jr., Lamin Newton and Mali Newton.
She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Lorna (Bev) Burton; sons-in-law: Ronald Hewitt and Calvin Yorke; sister-in-law, Lorna Newton; brothers-in-law: Steve Medley, Ronald Benjamin Sr. and Tyrone Lewis; and godchildren: Alphonso John, Ethan and Naylah Lewis, Medisa Rodney, Beatrice Jack and Cavelle Southwell.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, July 1, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
