We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Mervin “Luke” Anthony Walters of Providence, Rhode Island, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. He was 46 years old.
Luke was born on November 20, 1977, in St. Kitts, West Indies to Marilyn Tyson Walters and Lovell Walters. He is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn Tyson-Walters and his eight brothers and sisters, Bevern Sage, Andrew Winklaar, Lovel Walters, Brandon Walters, Iotha Prince, Lafayette Walters, Sherise Winklaar-Kirkwood, and Aretha Walters. In addition to his eight siblings, he is survived by one nephew, 8 nieces, 12 Uncles, 6 Aunts and a countless number of people that he has touched throughout his wonderful life.
His Funeral service will be held at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, Rhode Island, on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a funeral home service starting at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at North Burial Ground Cemetery, 5 Branch Ave, Providence, RI 02904.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date on St. Croix.
