STX Division of Student Services Opens Enrollment for Pre-Kindergarten/ Kindergarten Students for 2024-2025 School Year

The St. Croix District Division of Student Services has opened the enrollment period for students who will be entering pre-kindergarten and kindergarten during the 2024-2025 school year.

Pre-kindergarten – the student must be four years old by Dec. 31 of the registering school year.

Kindergarten – the student must be five years old by Dec. 31 of the registering school year.

Registration hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Division of Student Services Office at the Theordora Dunbavin Alternative Education Campus, located at 4053 La Grande Princess, Christiansted, VI 00820 (across from the Honda dealership).

Documents required for registration must be originals and include:

  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Original Social Security Card
  • Virgin Islands Department of Health Immunization Card and School Registration Clearance form, or current Certified Exemption Letter from Charles Harwood Immunization Clinic.
  • Government-issued Photo ID (ex: driver’s license, passport, etc.) of the parent or guardian who is registering the student.
  • Proof of Guardianship (If child is not living with one or both biological parents).
  • Proof of Residency (Physical Address):

o   Homeowners:

  • Signed closing statement or deed or property tax receipt
  • Current WAPA or Utility bill

o   Renters:

  • Lease Agreement signed by the Landlord and Tenant
  • Current WAPA or Utility bill (WAPA bill is still required when the lease includes utilities).
