Friends and relatives are advised of the death of Vernice Elaine Joseph, better known as Tiny.
Vernice was preceded in death by her mother, Leone I. Brunn Hendrickson; father. Alvin Joseph Sr.; and niece, Ashyla T. R. Gordon. She is survived by sisters: Alicia Griffin, Rita Joseph, Stephanie Joseph and Jaynelle Hendrickson; brothers: Alvin “Simba” Joseph Jr., Ronald “Randy” Joseph; aunts: Bernice B. Lanclos, Cresida B. Archibald, Eugenia B. Willis, Patricia Brunn, Valerie Brunn and Cassandra Brunn; uncles: Albert Brunn and Bernard Brunn; sister-in-law: Kimani Isles Joseph; and brothers-in-law: Douglas Griffin Sr. and Inez Joseph.
She is also survived by nieces: Reissia Motta, Athoia Gordon Ashoia Gordon-George, J’Riise Warner, Allaniise and Arcoyah Mannix, Akiisha Joseph, Roneika and Roneima Joseph, Taryn and Te’Jonique Dawson, nephews: Larone Creque, Rashaun Brady Douglas Griffin Jr. LaMont Joseph, Raheem Joseph, Toiryie Dawson, Te’Jean Joseph, Delon Joseph, Ronald Joseph Jr., Kiahl’Jah, Kyron and Ronel Joseph and Hakeem Joseph; as well as many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The first viewing will be held at 4-6 p.m., Friday, March 8, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home Chapel. The second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 9, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Internment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
