Shooting on St. Thomas Leaves Woman With Multiple Gunshot Wounds

When a woman parked her car at home Monday, a man allegedly approached her with a gun and fired multiple shots at her, the V.I. Police Department reported.

At approximately 9:55 p.m. on Monday, the Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Bureau on St. Thomas were dispatched to the Schneider Regional Medical Center regarding an assault, according to the police report.

The victim told detectives that she was parking her vehicle at her home when a masked individual with a gun approached her and started to fire multiple shots at her. She sustained multiple bullet wounds to her body, the police report stated.
