Unresponsive Man Found Floating in the Water on St. Thomas

A body was found floating in the water near Edward Wilmoth Blyden IV Marine Terminal on St. Thomas Wednesday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

A concerned citizen contacted 911 and reported that there was a person floating in the water, in the area of Edward Wilmoth Blyden IV Marine Terminal, according to the police report.

Officers made contact with the man floating in the water, who was unresponsive. Emergency Medical Technicians arrived on the scene and concluded that the man did not have any vital signs. The identity of the man is currently unknown. The cause of death is unknown, pending an autopsy, the police report stated.
