Deja Nickie transitioned into eternal peace on April 7. She was 25 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Sophia Eugene; father, Arnon Nickie Sr.; brothers: Alexis J. Eugene, Kareem Eugene, Vernon Walters and Aaron Nickie; sister, Keshia Nickie; honorary sister, Moesha L. Massiah; son, Nazir A.M. Roberts; companion, Kealon C. Roberts; and grandmother, Rosalie St. Brice.
She is also survived by aunts and uncle: Crescintia, Yvette, Delreeves, Dezarie, Natasha, Kenya and Christine; great uncles and great aunt: Joseph, Prisca, Peter, Andrew and Cyril; cousins: Yameda “Inga,” Douglas, Janae, Shamal, Rian, Ny’jah, Jamir, Spencer, Michael, Winston, Paul, Maalik, Kaleema; and many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, May 1, at New Testament Church of God (
