The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA or Authority) informs the public of an upcoming road closure on St. Croix from Melvin Evans Highway to Queen Mary Highway, as part of the Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project.
The road closure will begin Wednesday, March 15, and will end on May 30. The work will be done from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. Flaggers and signage will be present at all work zones and motorists are advised to exercise caution.
The Campo Rico Waterline Rehabilitation Project will benefit St. Croix’s Campo Rico community by improving water quality, reducing system-wide water loss, and improving infrastructure and system reliability.
