Fawkes Encourages Voters Not to Wait Until Last Day to Cast Early Voting Ballot

The 2022 General Election Early Voting continues throughout the territory for the Nov. 8th General Election, which will conclude on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022. Supervisor of Elections Caroline Fawkes continues to encourage the public to get out and vote early to avoid the lines on Election Day.

Voting hours on St. Croix and St. Thomas are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voting hours on St. John are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The early voting locations are:

  • District of St. Croix Elections Office, Sunny Isle Shopping Center Unit 26
  • District of St Croix, St. Joseph Church Hospitality Lounge
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John, Lockhart Gardens (Upstairs Banco Popular) on St. Thomas
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John, Tutu Park Mall on St. Thomas (former Scotia Bank location)
  • District of St. Thomas/St. John, Market Place Suite II on St. John

The number of electors who participated in early voting as of Friday, Oct. 21, is as follows: St. Thomas: 2,777; St. John: 181; St. Croix: 2,795 — a total of 5,753 votes territory-wide.

Voters are reminded they can cast their votes during the weekend. Hours and locations remain the same.
