Home Invasion on St. John Leads to Assault, Police Say

Two people were assaulted in their home on St. John, police said Saturday.

A man and woman arrived at the police station in Cruz Bay on Saturday morning to report that three males allegedly entered their Estate Bethany residence with guns Friday night.

According to the victims, the three males forced them onto the floor and demanded their valuables. The man said he was assaulted by one of the men causing injury. The man and woman further stated that the males ransacked the apartment and fled in an unknown direction.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation
