Commissioner of Health Justa Encarnacion advises the public that as of Monday, July 11, the Charles Harwood Modulars Temporary Parking Lot will be open for parking. Encarnacion apologizes to the public for any inconveniences this temporary change may cause.

All employees and persons doing business with the Department Health at this location are required to use the newly constructed parking facility. Parking directly in front of the modular building is for reserved parking and drop off/pick up purposes only. Additionally, parking on the street will no longer be permitted.

The Department of Health is in the process of seeking approval from the Department of Public

Works to make the street on the south side of the new temporary parking lot a one-way thoroughfare with traffic flowing only from west to east.

Violators will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense. The construction of the temporary parking lot and the accompanying procedures outlined are in place to ensure a safe environment for all.
