The Water and Power Authority’s (WAPA’s) stoplight intersection at Midland Road and Centerline Road near the Central High School on St. Croix will be shut down the weekend of Saturday, June 25band Sunday, June 26, to allow for installation of an electrical manhole and duct bank. Closure will occur from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
The installation is part of the ongoing work on the Midland Road being performed by VI Paving. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and take alternate routes to bypass this intersection. Signs and flaggers will be on site to indicate detours and maintain traffic.
