Man Faces Assault Charges After Allegedly Striking his Father with a Machete

On Tuesday, April 26, 34-year-old Naj’Jah Crabbe was placed under arrest and charged with third-degree assault under the territory’s domestic violence statute.

According to police, Crabbe allegedly threw stones at his father and later struck him several times with a machete, injuring him.

Crabbe was reportedly later turned in by a family member at the Special Operation Bureau where he was transported to the Roy Lester Schneider hospital, and then placed under arrest. The court denied bail pending Crabbe’s advice of rights hearing.

Anyone with information about this crime can notify the Domestic Violence Bureau at 340-774-2211, ext. 5536
