Oriental Bank has announced it will be extending branch service hours for May to assist customers with the deposit or cashing of their economic impact treasury check payments.
Oriental branches in Altona, St. Thomas and Sunny Isle, St. Croix will be open to the public on the following schedule effective May 1:
Drive-Thru Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Branch Teller Area Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
If customers need other essential services, such as the replacement of cards, claims or other services, they should schedule an appointment online at www.orientalbank.com/vi or call the branch. Essential services are being handled between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Oriental encourages its customers to deposit their economic impact checks using branch ATMs or drop boxes where funds will be available the next day.
For the safety of the employees and customers, Oriental is asking customers to wear face masks as they enter the branch, use hand sanitizer and maintain a 6-foot distance from other customers in the line as they enter the branch. They must have their ID in hand and all checks endorsed prior to reaching the teller.
