Michael Duval, age 68, of Mount Pleasant, St. Croix, died on June 16 at his residence.
He is survived by his daughter, Kareen Louisy (SLU); sisters: Mary Charles (UK) and Celia Duval (Texas); brother, Desmond P. Duval; sisters-in-law: Hilaria Duval and Helena Duval; brother-in-law, Carol Charles; and nieces: Eulalie Duval (SLU), Deborah Harney (N.C.), Aesha Duval, Samantha Duval, Erica Duval (Texas), Karen Duval Holmes (Texas), Yolanda Duval (Texas), Margaret Solomon (UK), Lorna Etienne (UK), Helen Charles (UK) and Allison Charles (UK).
He is also survived by nephews: Frank Duval (SLU), Ernest Duval (UK), Thomas Solomon (UK), Anthony Duval (UK), Kenneth Solomon (UK), Brian Solomon (UK), Winston Charles (UK), Kendall Charles (UK), Garfield Duval (N.C.), Desmond R. Duval (Ga.), Lincoln Duval, Anthony Duval (N.C.), Eli Duval (Ga.), Ricardo Duval (Texas) and Reuben Duval (Texas); cousins: Joan and Emmanuel Alexis, and the Combie family; special friends: Peter Pierre, Clara Chichester, Matthew Casoubond and Steve Roberts; as well as many other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Tributes will be held at 9:30 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
