Alexandrina C. Roberts of Jackson Terrace died on Tuesday, May 7.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emelda Martin Roberts; father, Viggo Roberts; sisters: Gertalyn Taylor, Lillian Phillip, Merle Roberts, Clara Henry and Corliss Simmonds; son, Melvin Joshua; brothers: Eldred and Will Roberts; nieces and nephews: Glenn and Curtis Taylor, Michelle Bascombe, Sylvia Miller James and Rhea Roberts.

She is survived by her sisters: Eurita Donovan, Joyanne Aarndel and Myrtle Roberts; brothers: Gustav and Elroy Roberts; daughters: Sharon Muckle Newton, Eliza Joshua; sons: Roy E. McIntosh, Randall Pate’ James and Melvin; grandchildren: Reynaldo Philbert, Tamekka Newton Plante, Bevrina Thiam, Denetra Robinson, Tamesha Punkin Newton, Randall Javon James, JaNee’ Boba Rohlsen and Godwin Bigman DeFreitas; and great-grandchildren: Reynaldo, Raeshon, Raequon, D’Myah, Aiden, Deja, J’Nyra and J’Nyla, Ryland.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Robert, Naomi and Debra Taylor, Austin, Arnold, Charles, Wendell, Annabelle and Owen David, Kamao Kambuii, Sheryl, Denise and Elston Papi Phillip, Colette Miller David, Berisa Miller, Jerraine Miller, Shermaine Miller, Gary Nicholas, Sean Miller, Emile Daniel, Warren, Robert and Valencia Henry, Liz Combie, Irmalee Roberts, Winston Vibert Tutein, Evelyn Wattley, Norma Roebuck, Ray Roberts and Nichelle Leonard, Agnes, Cedric, Cecil, Clarence, Clifton, Alton, Arnold, Althea, Carmen, Cecilia and Angela Simmonds, Floyd, Marvin and Anthony Petersen, Zelema, Ebony, Andrea and Leandre Ricky Aarndel, Lahoma Smith, Phyllis and Jashawn Brooks, Alex, Ruth, Ruby, Rochelle, Roxanne, Resheema, Roland and Ronald Roberts, Elroy Jr., Dexter, Keelan and Dujon Roberts; Nenny, Josephine B. Hector.

Other survivors include special cousins: Helen I. Joseph and Eileen Petersen; special friends: Myra and Sherry Hendricks and family, Anesta and family, Denise Williams and family, Magdalene Maggie Plaskett, Ruth Richardson, Albert and Marie Schuster, Juliet David, Wentworth David, Ms. Vero, Claudia Willocks and sisters, LGOS Church family, D. Hamilton Jackson Terrace “Red Brick” family and Akita Williams.

The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, at Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Christiansted Cemetery.
