The potential for shower activity will increase during the weekend as a result of the combination of an upper level trough and low level moisture. The day begins with a good chance of some passing showers, and by afternoon, tonight and Sunday, there is a significant increase in the probability for rain showers.
Five foot seas with easterly winds to 15 knots (17 miles per hour) are forecast.
There is a moderate risk of rip currents for some of the northwest beaches of St. Thomas, and for some beaches along the east and north coasts of St. Croix.
