Weekend Forecast: Mainly Fair

Mainly fair weather conditions are expected to prevail although some showers may develop from time to time. Later this evening, an increase in the potential for trade wind showers is forecast. An area of surface high pressure, to the north of the local area, will continue to result in breezy conditions throughout the day with winds ranging between 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour) with higher gusts.

Across the regional waters, choppy seas to six feet and east winds to 20 knots (23 miles per hour) are expected. Small craft operators should exercise caution.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents at most beaches today.

Sunrise is at 6:11 a.m. and sunset will occur at 6:34 p.m.
