Rupertine Gardier died on Feb. 9. She was 108 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Cynthia Christian and Gwendolyn Benjamin; sons: Oliver Christian and Herman Daway; grandchildren: 24; great-grandchildren: 13 and others too numerous to mention; great-great-grandchildren: 4 and others too numerous to mention; nieces and nephews: too numerous to mention; cousins: 2 and others too numerous to mention; special friends: Olive Le Cointe and the Herbert Gregg family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that mourners wear festive colors.
The viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 22, at Divine Funeral Services Chapel, 129 Peter’s Rest. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
