Adela “Yeya” Correa Figueroa died on Feb. 9.
She is survived by her daughters: Luz Adela Nieves and Evelyn Martinez Melendez; son, Ramon “Cuqui” Reyes; brother, Alphonso Correa; sisters: Carmen Correa, Adelina ‘Nini” Correa and Ursula “Tulu” Correa Asencio; grandchildren: Alston E. Lake Jr., Christina G. Lake, Jessica Herrera, Samuel J. Lake, Erica Herrera Torres, Jerica Blair Herrera, Jessenia Herrera, Zaimari Herrera Dickie and Raymond Junior Alexander Reyes; nieces and nephews: too numerous to mention; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. The family requests that mourners wear festive colors.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 24, at Sunny Acres Seventh-day Adventist Church, 502 Sunny Acres. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
