Police Investigate Shooting

The V.I. Police Department is investigating an incident of shots being fired at about 4:25 a.m. Thursday in the vicinity of the Candido Guadalupe Housing Community.

According to police, officers and a forensic unit were dispatched to investigate the report. At the scene, they found a vehicle that appeared to have exit bullet holes in the front windshields. Law enforcement processed the area, collecting spent shell casings.

The incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Bureau.

Police urged anyone with information to call 911 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers VI, at 1-800-222-8477.
