He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Helen West.
He is survived by his companion, Celeste Matthews; sons: Troy West, Dave West, Junior West and Marlon West; daughter, Janelle West; brother, Winston W. West; sisters: Lorna Horsford, Cavelle Burdon, Lynnette Arson, Marina Lycklama, Romenita Charles, Marilyn Ralph and Rev. Gloria Broomes; nieces: Patrice Horsford, Kim Burdon, Dine West and Evangeline Harris; nephews: Dr. Frank Simmonds, Rev. Winston Broomes Jr., Kurt Warner and Alex Ralph; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, at Bethel AME Church, No. 12 Queen Street, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
