Christian E. Thompson Dies at 68

Christian E. Thompson Christian E. Thompson, also known as "Te," of Mahogany Welcome died on April 25. He was 68 years old.
He is survived by his adopted daughter, Monique Carroll; godson, Amari Patrick; sisters: Thyra A. Timothy and Eleanor Thompson; adopted sister, Luz Armstrong; brothers: James Thompson and Maynel Thompson; nieces: Sherryanne Simon, Diane Cornelius, Juanita E. Roebuck, Jennifer Roebuck, Winifred Timothy, Alexis Middleton, Arlene Thompson and Summer Harris; nephews: Roland Parris, Earl and Elroy Roebuck, Herman Jr. and Howard Thompson, Maynel Thompson Jr., Norris Jr. and Anthony Harris; and great nieces: Tiyanah Dow, Chelsea Cornelius, Tawana Young, Tameka and Taneka Roebuck, Roanna, Ranoi, Shekila and Sherifa Parris, and Akeela Thompson.
He is also survived by his great nephews: Eric and John Crump, Aaron Lang, Omary Ovesen, Jalani Williams, Shakeel Thompson, Akeem andAmalee Thompson, and Ian Garvey; special friends: Stanley and The Ten Sleepless Knights, Stop & Save family, Butch Simon, Jackie Sobacker, Donald Francis, Laticia Felix, Carmen McAlpin-Clarke, Julyan Mintas, Floretta Nesbitt, Annette O’Neal and family, Goust Encarnacion, Dulcie Boston, Larry Jacobs, Charles Capehart, Tony McAlpin and Helen Joseph; cousins and other relatives: Kwame, Innocencio, Juan and Felipe Garcia, Juanita G. Roebuck, Terry Gaskin, Meodra, Pauline and Joe Roberts, Lisa Miller, Margarie Moorhead, Gladys and Harold Thomas, Denise Lendhardt, Eugene Thompson, Rita Kirby, Judge Eileen Petersen, and the Finch, Roebuck, Irvin and Miller families.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 6, at St. John’s Anglican Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
