Catalina Concepcion Dies at 90

Catalina Concepcion also known as "Abuelita," of Estate Glynn died on Thursday, July 7, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 90 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Marcela Torrens, Saturnila "Satu" Encarnacion, Felicita Concepcion LaPlace, Meridiña Concepcion and Norma Concepcion; sons: Expereto (Tony) Concepcion, Ladislau Concepcion, Victorino Concepcion and Otilio Concepcion Jr.; and grandchildren: Raul Torrens, Maria Maynard, Rene Torrens, Marcelo Torrens, Anna Lanclos, Maria Beck, Luis A. Encarnacion, Marianne Encarnacion, Milagros Romero, Juan Concepcion, Irian Concepcion, Catalina Concepcion, Liozandis Concepcion, Julio Torres, Catalina Torres, Rita Concepcion, Raysa Esmeralda Concepcion, Expedito Concepcion Jr., Iris Concepcion, Ladislau Concepcion Jr., Christopher Concepcion, Richard Concepcion, Ronald Luther, Natasha Fletcher, Victorino Concepcion Jr., Sharanna Concepcion, Von Concepcion, Christina Concepcion, Yoshia T. Daniels, Michael Lee II, Chenoa M. Lee, Otilio Concepcion III, Michael Concepcion, Janaris Concepcion, Victor P. Concepcion and Katherine Concepcion.
She is also survived by 45 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Lorna Concepcion and Maria Tirilo Concepcion; sons-in-law: Marcelo Torrens, Luis Encarnacion and Louis LaPlace; nieces: Nicolasa Ledesma, Maria Ledesma, Beatriz Ledesma, Irma E. Ledesma, Carmen M. Camacho and Graciela Camacho; nephews: Candito Ledesma, Jesus "Chuito" Ledesma and Jose L. Camacho; 14 great nieces; 17 great nephews; and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at the Iglesia De Dios M.I., Estate Calquohoun. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
