Vendors Are Urged to Submit Tent Deposit Fee to Avoid Citations

Commissioner of the Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs Wayne L. Biggs Jr. advises all vendors who have not submitted their $100 tent deposit fee to do so immediately. Vendors were previously informed of the payment deadline in a correspondence issued last month. Failure to submit payment or erect and operate under the tents provided will result in the issuance of citations by the DLCA of up to $500.

DLCA enforcement officers will inspect the plaza to ensure compliance. Citations will be issued each day that the tents have not been paid for or erected. The new tents were issued on Friday, at which time all tents should have been erected immediately upon receipt. All vendors are reminded that the new tents should be currently in use. The full cooperation and compliance of all vendors in this matter is required and will eliminate the need for citations.
