Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following crimes. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve these cases.
St. Croix: Police have information that many female minors were sexually abused from 1993 to the present in the Estate Clifton Hill area. If you or someone you know was a victim but don’t want to come forward, please report the assault(s) now through Crime Stoppers’ anonymous tip line and help law enforcement to protect potential new victims.
St. John: Please help police to identify the burglar(s) of a residence at 4-16 Chocolate Hole on Jan. 23. Several large items were removed, including a refrigerator, air conditioner, bunk bed, and several power tools. It is assumed that a truck or car was used.
St. Thomas: Police need your assistance to solve a Jan. 26 homicide in which a victim was shot to death on or after 1 p.m. in the area of Lime Street, Tutu. Please help police solve these senseless murders that are plaguing our community.
Community members can submit tips to Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). The tips are completely anonymous, and the stateside operators are bilingual. Tipsters can also submit tips online at www.CrimeStoppersUSVI.org or by texting “USVI” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). If a tip leads to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property, illegal drugs or weapons, the tipster receives a cash reward to be paid according to their instructions. Only anonymous callers to Crime Stoppers are eligible for these cash rewards.
Crime Stoppers thanks the community for the 41 tips received in January. Your tips are extremely valuable and are keeping law enforcement busy and working overtime to ensure that each one is investigated.
Please note that corruption tips do not go to the agency mentioned in your tip, but instead go directly to the FBI and are investigated by the Anti-Corruption Task Force.
