Ivy Irene Stephens, also known as “Miss Ivy,” died on Aug. 28. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Avis and Lucinda Stephens, Doris Hodge, Joan Farrel Stephen and Eslyn Barnes; sons: Austin Farrel, Norris Stephens, Atnel and Royston Dore; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Marian, Nellie and Ermin; brothers: Albert, Carlton and Uril; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m., on Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Church of God Holiness in Peter’s Rest. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
