Alfredo E. Coumarbatch Dies at 68

Alfredo E. Coumarbatch, also known as “Como” or “Mr. Coffee,” of Anna’s Retreat died on July 22, at his residence. He was 68 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice Prosper Alfredo E. CoumarbatchCoumarbatch; stepmother, Millicent Coumarbatch; sons: Elroy and Denroy Coumarbatch; daughters: Denise, Monique Stewart and Michelle Parika; stepdaughters: Claudette Sese Estrada Jackson, Mable Hurtault, Kathy Barry and Linda Karen La Motta; brothers: Lawrence, David Jr., Jara, Cyril, Ivan, David Denadrick, and John; sisters: Norma Coumarbatch Ash, Elmira Evans, Dr. Loretta Coumarbatch and Valencia Coumarbatch; brothers: Ivan, John, David Coumarbatch Jr., Cyril, Dr. Jara and Larry Coumarbatch; five grandchildren; and six stepgrandchildren. He is also survived by mother-in-law, Olive Colaire; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

There will be a first viewing from 7:30-9 p.m., on Thursday, July 30, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 31, at the Church of God of Prophecy. Interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery.
