Jan. 2, 2007 – Derek M. Connor Jr. died at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 19, at the age of 18.
He is survived by his mother, Theolinda Connor; father, Derek Connor Sr.; grandmother, Orianna Connor; grandfather, Charles Jacobs Sr.; and sisters: Joanna, Hanifa, and Dereka Connor. Other survivors include uncles: Ellis, Calvin and Nelson Hughes; Warrington, Rupert and Maclolm Connor and Charles Jacobs Jr; aunts: Maria Connor, Linnette James and Charisma Onika Robinson, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 5, at Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., at the church. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
