UVI Spring '06 Online Registration Continues Through Dec. 16
Online registration for UVI's 2006 spring semester continues through Dec. 16. This applies to online registration only. Students are reminded that the enrollment process is not completed until final payment for courses and fees is made. Dec. 20, 2005, is the deadline for payment for spring semester courses. Class schedules and detailed enrollment information are available on the UVI web site – www.uvi.edu. Kwame Garcia Re-elected to Caribbean Agricultural Boards
Kwame N. Garcia, state director of the Cooperative Extension Services at the University of the Virgin Islands, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors for the Caribbean Food Crops Society (CFCS) and to the Board of Directors of the Caribbean Council of Higher Education in Agriculture (CACHE). FLC Pan Panthers and Quadrille Dancers to Perform in 'Miracle on Main Street'
Two groups representing the UVI Family Life Center (FLC) After-School Program will perform in St. Thomas' "Miracle on Main Street" this Friday, Dec. 16. Performances by the FLC Pan Panthers and the FLC Quadrille Dancers are scheduled between 6 and 7 p.m. The Pan Panthers will offer steel-drum renditions of such classics as Jingle Bells, The Little Drummer Boy, Silent Night, and the local favorite, Mama Bake de Johnny Cake. The Quadrille Dancers will sashay to Quelbe, the official music of the VI. The entire UVI community is invited to come out and support the FLC students. December 2005 dateline: UVI Now Available Online

St. Thomas Campus Mail Room Announces Holiday Hours
The UVI mail room, located in the Student Activities Center, St. Thomas campus, will be open during the holiday recess on the following days:
+ Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005 — 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
+ Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005 — 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
+ Friday, Dec. 30, 2005 — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
+ Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006 — 11 to 4 p.m
St. Thomas Bookstore Relocation Schedule
The UVI Bookstore on the St. Thomas will be open for business from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Dec. 16, 2005. The Bookstore will cease operation at the Sports and Fitness Center location at the end of business on Dec. 16. It will resume operations at Jerome House on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006. The Bookstore staff regrets any inconvenience this schedule may cause and looks forward to providing better service at the new and more spacious location.
St. Thomas Campus Cafeteria Offers Reduced Schedule
The UVI Cafeteria on the St. Thomas campus will observe the following schedule on Mondays through Fridays during the period of Dec. 12 through Dec. 22
+ 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. — Light Breakfast
+ Noon to 2 p.m. – Lunch
