Workshops Set for Restaurateurs on FDA Food Code

May 17, 2004 – Half-day workshops on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Food Code will be held May 25 on St. Thomas and May 26 on St. Croix for owners and operators of restaurants and other food establishments.
In a Government House release, Health Commissioner Darlene Carty said the morning workshops will provide valuable information regarding the established federal regulations on food safety and how food code changes will be implemented in the Virgin Islands.
The Health Department and the FDA are jointly presenting the sessions.
The St. Thomas workshop will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Palms Court Harbourview Hotel.
The St. Croix workshop will be held during the same hours at the Divi Carina Bay Hotel.
