Seminar on Opening Summer Camps

Anyone who has ever wanted to start and operate a summer camp, are invited to join the Department of Human Services (DHS) when it presents workshops titled “Mass Consultation for Summer Camps” in both districts. It will be an informative seminar on how to operate a fun and safe summer camp. DHS Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services in collaboration with the Department of Health (Sanitation), Department of Planning and Natural Resources, Department of Education (School and Nutrition Program), and the V.I. Fire and Environmental Services will go over what is required to operate summer camps by their respective agencies.  The seminar is an annual event that helps prepare prospective applicants by guiding them through the licensure process.  Those interested must register to secure seating.
