SERVICES THURSDAY FOR MILLICENT 'PEDA" CARR

Millicent H. Chambers Carr, also known as "Peda", of Est. Humbug died Friday, Jan. 12 at Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 60. She was a retired employee of the Day Care Head Start Division of the Department of Human Services.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 18 at Community Methodist Church, with a viewing beginning at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Kingshill Cemetery.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Bentley Augustine; daughters, Patricia Taylor- Brown, Francis Urgent Taylor, and Debra Urgent Taylor; sons, Beverly Taylor and Larry Taylor; grandchildren, Patricia, Theolinda, Devon Jr., Brandon, Leroy, Francisca, Shakari, Tung, Lee, Leo, Kareem and John; great-grandchildren, LeAsia, Corraine, Sylvanna, Delsha and Milak; nieces, Julia Lowe and Algina Lowe; great-nieces, Kimberyl and Jahkishma; nephews, Kevin Lowe and Dyrel Lowe; great-nephews, Shawne, Jamallie, Tyrell and Mehki Suron Robinson; cousins, Linda Wilson Phipp, Gloria Sweet, and William Wilson; special friends, Banielda McMahorne, Ramona Hamilton, Mercedes Davis, Susanna Walters, Janet Williams, RynitaWilliams, Oreen St. Louis, Theresa Walker, Linda Goba, Bentley Augustine Jr., Samuel John Baptiste, Elone DeFoe, Mathias DeFoe, Jolene Augustin; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of James Memorial Funeral Home.
