Dolores Abramson Dies at 69

Dolores Abramson Dolores Abramson of Estate Mon Bijou died on Feb. 25 at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center. She was 69 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ina Barker; father, Lionel "Pepper Lee" Abramson; sister, Gloria Lawrence; and brothers: Antonio, Gene and Charles Abramson.
She is survived by her children: Eric Abramson, Ina Allick, Ann Marie Fisher, Reginal Herbert, Susan Bryson and Kareem Malone; grandchildren: Sean Bailey Abramson, Tamika, Audrey, Michael, Michelle, Odessa and Jahmall Allick, DebbieAnn Humphrey, Elijah Allick-Byrde, Felisher Fisher and Miguel Bryson; and great-grandchildren: Quiana Allick-Rowan, Danajah and Messiah Allick, IyJohnny Allick Robinson and Xavier Milton.
She is also survived by stepdaughter, Niome Gumbs; sister, Linda Lawrence; nieces: Colette and Deneen Lawrence, and Antonio Abramson; nephews: Darryl, Willie, Keith, Carlos and Adrian Lawrence; daughter-in-law, Vivian Abramson; sons-in-law: Keith Fisher and Amadou Diallo; sister-in-law, Karen Colbourne; brothers-in-law: Ishmel, Ervin and Erveret Colbourne; and friends: Williemae Walcott and Donah Brow.
Other survivors include 22 great nieces and nephews; and cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to Donah Brow, Williemae Watts Walcott, Sister Pinkie Smallwood, G.W.M. Shirley Daniels, Jacqueline Williams, Bro. Ron Davis, G.M. Morris, Bro. Luckie, Bro. Butler, St. John Grand Lodge, Sis. Mary Supreme Council of Ohio, Mt. Moriah Chapter.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at James Memorial Chapel, La Grande Princesse, Christiansted, V.I. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
