Virgin Islands Visitor Guidebooks Win Design Awards

The USVI Hotel & Tourism Association’s in-room magazines, VISIT for St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix, earned a coveted Silver Medal in the 2026 American Advertising Federation Caribbean American Advertising Awards in the Publication Design Series category.

The publisher, North South Net, Inc., also received a Silver Medal for Individual Publication Design for VISIT the British Virgin Islands.

“We’re honored to receive this recognition from the American Advertising Federation,” says Garry Duell Jr., publisher of North South Net, Inc. “Our goal has always been to inspire travelers and help them connect more deeply with the Virgin Islands — its people, its culture, and its unforgettable landscapes. This honor reflects the passion our team brings to bringing those stories to life.”

Distributed in resorts, hotels, guest houses, and vacation rental properties throughout the Virgin Islands, VISIT magazines showcase breathtaking photography, engaging stories of island life, and advertising that connects visitors with the many experiences the Virgin Islands have to offer — from dining and shopping to outdoor adventures and cultural attractions.

The American Advertising Awards is the advertising industry’s most comprehensive and prestigious competition, recognizing creative excellence across the United States and the Caribbean. Thirty-eight Caribbean companies submitted more than 375 entries in this first tier of the competition, competing for top creative honors in the region.

Winners from the AAF Caribbean will compete with winners from Florida at the District Competition for the opportunity to advance to the third and final tier. At the final National Competition, winners from 15 multi-state districts compete as finalists in the American Advertising Awards.
