On September 12, 2024, at the tender age of 83, Viola ‘Ismay’ Brunn took her last breath at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center after battling years of illnesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudina Moore Roberts and James Robert; her sister, Elaine Isaac; brother, Joseph Roberts; two children: Mareen and David and one nephew, Elvis ‘Junior’ Roberts.
Ismay is survived by her 3 sisters: Agnes Wilson, Leonora Nora’ Allen and Esther ‘Princess’ Herbert; 6 children: Aulete White, Hansel Roberts, Shefton Jeffers, Anna Chapman, Judith Gumbs-Browne, Stuart White; 14 grandchildren: Shaniqua Allen, Shaneeke Frett, Jahmali ‘Chop’ Lewis, Shaquan ‘Smash’ Lewis, Jahmequa Lewis, Shaquanya Lewis, Shaquilla Lewis, Shacoy Emanuel, Mikal Edelin, Dwayne ‘Junie’ Harrigan, Ira ‘Shayne’ Chapman, Delroy ‘Dee’ Nurse, Markees White, Sebastien White, Stuart White Jr., Te’quan Browne, Sharn Shamal; great-grandchildren: Ayannah Allen, Marcyiah ‘Potato’ David, Aylisiah Allen and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The Viewing will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. service immediately after. Interment will be private.
