CHS Moves to Alternative Schedule Due To Water Issues

 

The St. Croix Central High School will move to an alternate schedule on Thursday and Friday as V.I. Water and Power Authority crews continue to address a water pressure issue impacting the campus, the Education Department announced in a press release Wednesday evening. 

School will be in session from 7:40 a.m. to noon on both days. Lunch will be served prior to  dismissal and school bus service will be provided, according to the release.

An update will be provided on the status of the school for Tuesday, following the Labor  Day holiday on Monday. 

CHS Alternate Bell Schedule for Thursday and Friday 

1st Period: 7:40 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. (55 minutes) 

–No flex period– 

3rd Period: 8:40 a.m. to 9:35 a.m. (55 minutes)  

4th Period: 9:40 a.m. to 10:35 a.m. (55 minutes) 

5th Period: 10:40 a.m. –11:35 a.m. (55 minutes)

Lunch: 11:35 a.m. to noon (grab-and-go)

Dismissal: Noon
