A drier air mass will move across the region today limiting the development of showers. One or two passing showers cannot be ruled out. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. Breezy easterly winds of 15-25 miles per hour will prevail today.
Hazardous marine conditions will continue across the outer Caribbean waters with seas to seven feet and winds  to 20 knots (23 miles per hour). As a result, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for these waters. Seas will average three to six feet elsewhere and small craft operators are urged to exercise caution.
There is a high risk of rip currents for the eastern coast of St. Croix until Thursday afternoon. On St. Thomas and St. John, there is a low risk of rip currents.
