As part of the company’s strategy to reach customers where they are, AT&T now has a mobile store to serve St. Thomas and St. John.
According to AT&T, the mobile store will be used at community events and in situations such as post-hurricanes, when it’s difficult for people to get to stores.
The mobile store will also be set up at the Department of Housing, Parks and Recreation complex at Cruz Bay on St. John from about 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Tuesday.
The AT&T mobile store will let people explore the company’s mobile devices, entertainment services and accessories. It has a fold-out device table that displays qas many as a dozen smartphones and tablets, a 42-inch TV screen on which DIRECTV content is shown, an accessory display on the inside back door, a pop-up tent for shade and a solar panel on the roof to power the van at events.
According to the company, the USVI mobile store is one of dozens it rolled out across the U.S. to make shopping with the company more convenient.
