Carmen Elizabeth James Dies at 82

Carmen Elizabeth James Carmen Elizabeth James of Herbert Greg Home died at her residence on Jan. 2. She was 82 years old.
She is survived by her sons: Elroy Gerard, Robert A. Jones and Edward James; daughter, Delarine Gerard; grandsons: Zikomo H. Valentin and Akeem M. Gerard; great-grandchildren: Zekimah Valentin, Zikomo R. Valentin and Zekilah Valentin; niece, Rita Daniel; great nephews: Kendal "Casey" Henry, Ernest Prescott, Anthony Daniel and Jayson Nichols; great nieces: Keisha Harty, Natasha Johnson-Hutton and Recarh Johnson; great-great nephews: Devonte Prescott, Reneau Cherant Jr., Rashad Cherant, Anthony Daniel Jr., Kingsley Daniel and Jayson Nichols Jr.; great-great nieces: Amanda Daniel, Alicia Daniel, Sierra Nichols, Quashine McIntosh, Reniqua Johnson, Nialah Charles and Jaime Lynn Bass; special friend, Eileen R. Peterson; god-sister friends: Beryl Bolling-Sergent, Leola Leycock-Graham, Sybil Thomas, Rosie Schuster-Gonzales, Rita Gibbs-Andrewss, Adele Nicholas and Thyra Thompson; cousins: Gloria Joseph, James, Benjamin, the Hay families; and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday Jan. 11, at the Lord God of Sabaoth Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
